Great interview! I too have never seen a Barn Owl. I liked hearing Anuj's stories about seeing Barn Owls in Nepal and the US as his spark bird. The variety of species in Nepal sounds incredible as well. That Himalayan Mona is quite the colourful bird!

That would be a dream trip, Anuj, and not just for the birds. Nepal is easily in my top 3 birding destinations since our talk. Costa Rica is happening next month. Nepal and Colombia I hope are the next big birding trips after that.

I would love to have you both there...We should plan a trip once I am back in Nepal next year! We can plan a birding + Himalayan hiking trip :D
